They might be allowed to be used in PvP, however they would remain tradingable. A fair point, but we would like these potions to only give advantages to players who have trained to the level they are currently in. Since players who have been taught are more likely to succeed in PvE, this is still true. Isn't there also a problem in general with Max-hit and Hitpoints? Yes. Another reason that was considered was the possibility that weapons could 1-hit an individual or get more close to the ability. This is a rare occurrence, but it does not mean it is impossible to achieve. We'll address the Max-hitting and Hitpoints problems by looking at the combat system changes, and possibly the Defence ability. Why did you do this, and then leave dragon claws/AGS alone? There is no doubt that some weapons with have special abilities that are more effective than others. While we can take each case individually, items such as claws have been an integral element of the game's history for more than a year. As the claws and AGS are distinctly tied to a combat stat (Attack) they don't have any reason to be removed. These items can also be visible if someone holds them, while an increased status isn't. What's next? I did some training for my Herbore and got some benefits removed. It's ok. I've got 99 Herblore and I can understand the loss. We've decided to spend some extra time on an additional Herblore update. This isn't against what I've stated previously. Let's hope that we can utilize this forum constructively to make some potions! We'll be keeping an eye on this thread as close as we can. So post anything you think would be effective and, if you're lucky enough, make the ability to trade it! Here are some ideas I've got. Potions that may give you regeneration, or let you snatch some of your health (e.g. half the damage you cause is repaired in a short time) or even stop your death.
